What do a Monarch butterfly way station, a family of musicians and a turtle bar fundraiser all have in common? They’re just a few of the things that make Land O’Lakes farmer-owners’ lives extra interesting.
More than ever, it’s important for Americans to understand where their food comes from, and in Where Goodness Grows, an all-new digital video series, we’re helping to make that connection.
By highlighting some of the unique stories from dairy farms across the country, we’re giving our farmer-owners a platform to share hope and positivity, which can be just as nourishing as the food they produce.
Where Goodness Grows is hosted by–and shot from the kitchen of–Amy Brown, co-host of iHeartMedia’s award-winning country music radio program, “The Bobby Bones Show.” In each episode, Brown speaks with Land O’Lakes farmer-owners and tries some of their home-crafted recipes. It’s an upbeat celebration of the work they do and the lives they lead on and off the dairy farm.
The show is also on a mission to help people who need it most. As part of its ongoing commitment to ending hunger in the U.S., Land O’Lakes is donating one pound of macaroni and cheese for a guaranteed maximum donation of 100,000 pounds of macaroni and cheese (equivalent to 83,000 meals)* to Feeding America® for every comment on or share of a Where Goodness Grows episode.

In the very first episode of Where Goodness Grows, we connect with the Westra family, where we talk about their delicious oatmeal turtle bars and their special bond with Haiti.
Then, we play a quick game and jump on to a great chat with Sadie Frericks from Blue Diamond Dairy to talk about her experience caring for a group of Monarch butterflies who decided to call her farm “home.”
